What is the best way to present ideas to a local event production company?

My girlfriend and I have some really good ideas that we think an event production company in our city would really benefit from. She is willing to contact them and let them know we have some ideas we'd like to offer them and see if they'd be willing to take us on or let us work through them, but as we've never done this before, what is the best way to handle this? Should she contact them by email or telephone and how exactly should she present it?What is the best way to present ideas to a local event production company?
always call. E-mails can be erased, but a phone call is more difficult to dismiss.

call them,and ask to speak to the productions manager. You may not be able to make your own plays but yuou may have help on them, or they can do the plays/ whatever u have, with you.
