My friend did not place on her invite list to a party. Instead, she marked the event public and I can RSVP for the party.
When you know somebody (this person I have known for about five years) and they make the event public, does make it okay to attend the event even though you were not on the original invite list.
It affects my plans this evening whether I go to my twelve-step meeting or whether I go to her party.What is the proper etiquette about going to a public event?
if you've known her for 5 years - you should call her and ask - or go, bring her something for the party, and she'll probably welcome you as part of the public or more.
