i need to know these things for my next event on MUN (model united nations) and i would really love it if you guys could share some of this info with me :)Does anyone know what is uae's (united arab emirates) opion on the UNHCR?
UNHCR has 2 offices in the UAE. The Abu Dhabi office (since 1990) with 3 staff members focuses on protection and assistance to refugees, IDPs and others concerning UNHCR. (tel.: +971 2 667 76 68 ; Fax: +971 2 667 66 15 ; e-mail: uaead@unhcr.org). The Dubai office was established 2006 within the International Humanitarian City premises and has 10 staff members.They are dedicated to the management of a relief items stockpile for worldwide emergency response, telecom and IT, fleet management and IP procurement.

for this questions to be answered, you need to do surveys from ppl and governments in uae. research is a must in this case.
however, i believe the UAE has always mentioned that they are willing to help others voluntarly (from a humanitarian point of view), regardless of their nationality.
one point to take into consideration is that israel is the only country in the doesn'tthat doesnt have diplomatic connection with UAE. as long as the unhcr does not support israeli refugees, than i think UAE will be much open minded and interested in this project.
just make sure unhcr does not support israeli refugees and i think things will be positive.
