A question about the dinosaurs and the big bang?

So my philosophy and logics class in college made me think of this and I decided to ask:



(By the way I am a Christian but I'm just curious)



The bible says God created the world...he is the beginning and ending.

So who created the dinosaurs? The dinosaurs came before humans so what happened before the dinosaurs and the period between the dinosaurs and human existence?

Stephen Hawking claims that God "is unnecessary" for the creation of the universe. Of course he is a man of science and believes that gravity is the reason why the universe was created out of nothing. So does Stephen Hawking believe in souls? What are his thoughts on death and the afterlife? Also, what do you guys think created the big bang? Was God the cause for that event?



(I am aware that I will probably get answers from Athiests who will post up that God is a figment of imagination...that is your own personal belief that you are entitled to...I'm looking for serious thoughts here. Thanks.)A question about the dinosaurs and the big bang?

I cannot speak about others thoughts as i don't know them.

Personally i have observed that when we die we rot in the ground

The concept of god does not solve the conundrum of where everything originated.

Athiest: where did the big bang come from, (energy that has allways existed / an imballance on an equation at resulted in two sides that cancel etc.)

Christian: where did life come from (god) where did he come from (allways existed)

Both answers dont definately prove anything, although one obviously has more thought behind it.



Furthermore:

God is allknowing

To know the position of the smallest amount of mass/energy you need to have (x,y,z,t) coordinates.

To store these coordinates you would have to have atleast 4x the mass of the items you carry knowlege about.

Therefor god must be at least 4x greater than everything.

And if god where to know himself the amount of mass would be increasing for every value of x,y,z,t to an imaginary number.

So in conclusion for god to exist mathematically he must exist as an imaginary quantity of mass/energy.



Personally the concept of god seems childish

You will no find a reconcile between evolution and the Bible. Dinosaurs existed about 65 millions years ago and Christians says the earth is about 6.000 years old. Some Christian creationists deny it altogether and advocate a young earth, based on Mosaic chronology, which dates the creation of the earth to about 6,000 to 10,000 years ago. Other creationists prefer to reconcile the Bible with geology by interpreting the days of creation in Genesis as long ages.
I believe in Hinduism. Dinosaurs and man existed along together since man and animals were created by God simultaneously millions of years ago. I also believe in Jesus and the Bible, How is this? Is a long, long scientific explanation.

That God is a figment of the imagination is a serious thought. There is no proof for God existing and the Bible is just a book some blokes wrote.

Now that we have that out of the way, single celled organisms evolved and then millions of years later dinosaurs evolved and then some millions of years later people evolved.

I haven't read any of Steven Hawkins books, but I doubt he believes in souls or an afterlife since there are no evidence for those things.

I think the big bang was a natural occurrence which did not involve any gods, since they don't exist.

Here's my theory, and I'm not saying it's true: I believe that the universe has existed forever, no big bang, but everything else, gravity black holes blah blah, yes. As for life on earth, I believe that the theory of evolution is the most accurate. So dinosaurs were once single celled organisms that evolved. But, for some reason humans evolved much different than the rest of the organisms on earth right?. I believe it's the cause of something external (yes, aliens), that interfered with our species' evolution chain. Perhaps accelerating our evolution or "seeding" us with their own intelligence. God may be an exaggerated explanation which our ancestors used to describe these aliens when they reappeared on earth for reasons like checking up on their "seeding" experiments. Souls and ghosts could be entities from another dimension leaked into ours. People would know it as hell. As for the afterlife, well....you might have to die to find out, I don't recommend that. Dang...I wrote a big paragraph....

I heard that 3 things are eternal God Souls and Matter and that allplay a role with each other. Souls can reflect God and nature reflects souls.

Also that the earth is the place where we play our roles as people the universe to keep it all steady. And Earth is where it all happens.

It is a play of 5000 years and repeats idendically every 5000 years so history and Geography repeats idendically every 5000 years. We don't have a soul we are souls we have a body. So we travel from body to body soul is indistructable indisolvable eternal matter too but it changes form. God same as the soul but is ever pure and does not get born through a womb. Comes after every 5000 years to purify all souls. Due to repetition at the end of the cycle of 5000 years mutations take place due to radio activity are remembert as dinasaurous. There is more but as Christ said seek and u shall find. Something must make sense.:))

I don't know, I've talked to Christians about that to. "If Adam and Eve came first then how do you explain the dinosaurs?" Some of them just said that they were made up by god to test people's faith or something =/ And I don't think Stephen Hawking believes in souls as he is an atheist who seems to value evidence.
