I believe you're missing the obvious here. The idea that taking a potion can separate the good and evil in man is the primary plot device of the story. I have a five month old hound/bordercollie mix who is an excellent retriever with an exceptional ability to leap and is progressing as he continues to grow into his VERY long legs. What is a good event to talk to a class for a shy person?
So, I don't really know that much interesting events to talk to a room full of adults. We're in college now and I have no idea on what my event topic should be. I was going to do the Boston Tea Party or battle of Lexington And Concord. What interesting events are out there? I am really shy so I need a non-difficult event to talk about, also an interesting one.What is a good event to talk to a class for a shy person?
Well, it sounds like you're interested in history, so I'd choose something related to that. In all honesty, you should probably stay away from Lexington and Concord, and maybe even the Tea Party: most people probably won't have a particularly large breadth of knowledge about the first one, and the second one is sort of boring. I know world war 2 has been done to death, but if you focused on the campaign in North Africa, especially Rommel's leadership, you might have a good topic. Just about everyone has a large amount of general background on the knowledge of the war, including the multiple assassination attempts on Hitler (which -*spoilers*- Rommel was involved in), but I doubt many people know a lot about the Desert Fox. He was actually an exemplary general, and he has what I thought was a very interesting backstory that most people don't know.

I am in the process of starting my own private event planning company in colorado and I am not sure how much I should charge for my services. I would like to buy my husband a ticket for some sports event in Phoenix. Problem is I am not native to Phoenix so I don't know any of the local teams. We will be having the event at several different locations (hotel, resturants, malls) and I am concerened that we will have a major crowd control problem (celebrities are involved). I am not worried about people who are registered to attend the event, more that people will show up and try to get in.
I am trying to get an idea of how much it will cost to secure this event.
I am looking for a $ per hr /per person kind of idea. Because the event is still really far away I have not tried to get quotes, just trying to give my boss and myself an idea of what this will cost.

One thing you can do is find the status update that's created by the event on your profile page, and click the option to remove the update about the event. This way, it will be taken out of the feed for other people, and will only be a notification to the people you've invited. Hope this works and hope this helps

Having said that, I'd recommend you take your favourite programming book (let's say Java :) ) and go towards the end of the book which is usually to do with GUI development and more interestingly, how button/click events are first caught and then executed in an event-loop.

I'm thinking: food drive, concert, or bake sale (is this ok to be organizing for school?). I want original and money making events where all of the proceeds go to a charity.
I'm 13 and if I do this, it would be with the school so on the school's budget. So pretty much the event has to be at a low to reasonable cost.What kind of event can I organize to raise money for a charity?

How much should I plan to pay for event security and crowd control?
I am planning an event for 400 to 600 people. We will be having the event at several different locations (hotel, resturants, malls) and I am concerened that we will have a major crowd control problem (celebrities are involved). I am not worried about people who are registered to attend the event, more that people will show up and try to get in.
I am trying to get an idea of how much it will cost to secure this event.
I am looking for a $ per hr /per person kind of idea. Because the event is still really far away I have not tried to get quotes, just trying to give my boss and myself an idea of what this will cost.

I remember watching this event on ESPN, a bunch of major league baseball players were in San Francisco, i think at the Giants' stadium, and players took turns being thrown pitches and seeing how many home runs they could hit in a row, and other various baseball related events.

I am interested in starting my own business from home as an event planner (no employees, just me). However, I am unsure about the insurance aspect of things.
I will possibly be organising events for a large company and they have told me that I am required to take out Public %26amp; Products Liability insurance and Personal Accident cover before I can start working on any of their events. Will the Personal Accident insurance cover my hospital bills if I injure myself? If not, what insurance does?
Could you please advise what type of insurance is required for a home-based event planner.

I have a lot of relatives I have traced back to the 1600's. Lot of towns and even counties have changed names etc.
I have been told we need to research and put down the name of the town when the event happened and also investigate what the name of the county when the event happened.
How can we find out specially the name of the county when the event happened.

First you had East Prussia, winding from just east of Warsaw into Belarus, Lithuania, and even parts of the Ukraine. Then you had West Prussia, which goes from Warsaw to Berlin. The first place to check for the new names of old Central European places (and Poland is part of Central Europe, even though Americans got in the habit of calling them Eastern Europe during the Cold War) is to go the the Jewish GenWeb Shtetl Seeker databases. They did a good job of tracking all community changes, not just those with a significant Jewish population. Here's the link.

Example you have ancestors in Prussia so when you looked at the baptism records what church was it from, where was the church located in Prussia...that village/town has not moved, it may have changed its name and the country it is in may have....but very likely the church is still there along with the records..... see you can't research 'back to 1600' without knowing the village/town

Why am I getting the "blue screen of death" error?
My Windows 7 computer keeps giving me the random blue screen of death error. There's no errors anywhere in the event log except where it says the previous shut down was unexpected. Norton is updated and scanned, and so is my Spy Sweeper. I also bought a registry cleaner to clear errors and right after the blue screen, it still doesn't find any registry errors. What happens just before I get the blue screen? Everything freezes and I can't click anywhere. Can't even open the task manager. I've been getting this error for almost a year now and I'm at whits end! Somebody, please help! Hardware details below:

Solid State HDD with lots of room left
Intel Core i7 Extreme (first generation)

Whoa! That's some system! I'd be upset over the blue screen if I'd spent that much money on my system. I have almost never seen the blue screen from a software problem. It is almost always a hardware problem. You've got it all broken down on your list. If you have onboard video, take the video card out and run it a while. Then start pulling out RAM sticks one by one. Actually I would just take it right down to one RAM stick and start adding them back slowly, but since you are a gamer, that might not work for you. Remove any unnecessary peripherals, or don't leave them plugged in. Then if it still happens, it's your motherboard or CPU. Good luck.

The story is much longer than the allotted characters would allow me to tell. I'll do my best to sum it up:
We met in a shag/ swing dance class a year ago and hit it off brilliantly. It was last summer that she admitted to having a crush on me via Facebook message. We started dating as soon as the fall semester started and began a serious relationship, maybe 2 months, from the end of last summer through early October. She was my first girlfriend, my first kiss and everything that comes after.
There were obvious inconsistencies in the way she treated me vs how she was with her friends. Her phone was under her chin at all times, but I'd have to wait for hours to get a reply or call back. On our first date we went to her best friend's house for a party and we had a great time, but she never seemed to want to interact with my roommates (who happen to also be my best friends). In fact, when she came over at night, we would just end up in the bedroom and you can imagine what would take place...
She was very busy: she had a full class schedule to graduate a semester early and a demanding job. I understood this completely going in and never complained when I would usually only see her at the end of the day and when she spent the night. I was happy, albeit inexperienced and naive.
One morning when I was driving her home I mentioned an event in Savannah, GA called 'Pirate Fest'. It's a music festival on the beach as a last celebration of summer. She said she'd like to go and when she added that she had friends coming to visit that weekend I invited them too. It was a big deal for me to get to meet them and let her proudly show me to her friends. I wanted to be able to do that for her. I never was given that chance before. When her friends came to town I hardly got to see her, and in fact would go over a day without even hearing from her. I offered to drive them to the bar one night, and when I took them home later I wanted a kiss and she turned her face. I was crushed. The next day I called to see if she and her friends wanted to get dinner. When she answered I asked what she was up to and she told me they had gone down to Savannah... to Pirate Fest. I was livid.
There was a confrontation the next night after her friends left. It wasn't a fight, but when things "got fixed" I still didn't feel like it was resolved. My feelings had really been badly hurt, and she didn't seem to care. I tried to talk about it again the following night and it became an argument over the phone, which ended in her calling me crazy and breaking up with me. The next night she responded to a text that ended with "Please don't contact me again."
For weeks I desperately tried to reconcile things. I had grown depressed and was overwhelmingly confused. I had defriended and blocked her on Facebook so save myself from seeing her on my feed. I eventually unblocked her and sent a friend request. I didn鈥檛 really have much hope for a result, and eventually forgot about trying it. But one morning I got online and saw that she'd added me. I went to her page and saw she had a boyfriend. They were official 2 weeks after we'd broken up. There was a brief exchange where I'd asked if she was seeing him while we were together. She said no and I actually am inclined to agree based on other knowledge of an event on campus they met each other at.
That conversation culminated with me describing in detail how I just didn't understand how in the world she could have bitter feelings towards me, and then ended with how irrational that makes her look to be with someone else so soon after saying she loved me as much as she did.
I was pretty sad on her birthday in early December. That day I saw an advertisement on the school website for play auditions being held that same night. I saw it as an opportunity to get out of the house and take my mind off things. (I ended up getting the role. I've never been in a play before.) A couple weeks later I decided that I wanted to end things better. So I sent her a message wishing her a happy birthday and a congratulatory little something or other for graduation. She replied with "Thank you Billy!" That was that. No contact since. I think about her all the time and sometimes I even get sad about it.

My feelings had really been badly hurt, and she didn't seem to care. I tried to talk about it again the following night and it became an argument over the phone, which ended in her calling me crazy and breaking up with me. The next night she responded to a text that ended with "Please don't contact me again."
For weeks I desperately tried to reconcile things. I had grown depressed and was overwhelmingly confused. I had defriended and blocked her on Facebook so save myself from seeing her on my feed. I eventually unblocked her and sent a friend request. I didn鈥檛 really have much hope for a result, and eventually forgot about trying it. But one morning I got online and saw that she'd added me. I went to her page and saw she had a boyfriend. They were official 2 weeks after we'd broken up. There was a brief exchange where I'd asked if she was seeing him while we were together. She said no and I actually am inclined to agree based on other knowledge of an event on campus they met each other at.
That conversation culminated with me describing in detail how I just didn't understand how in the world she could have bitter feelings towards me, and then ended with how irrational that makes her look to be with someone else so soon after saying she loved me as much as she did.
I was pretty sad on her birthday in early December. That day I saw an advertisement on the school website for play auditions being held that same night. I saw it as an opportunity to get out of the house and take my mind off things. (I ended up getting the role. I've never been in a play before.) A couple weeks later I decided that I wanted to end things better. So I sent her a message wishing her a happy birthday and a congratulatory little something or other for graduation. She replied with "Thank you Billy!" That was that. No contact since. I think about her all the time and sometimes I even get sad about it.
Tonight at 12 I was watching a movie with my roommates when I got a text from a random number: "I wish that you and I could be friends." My only reply to this was, "I wish I knew who this was." I began to worry about who had sent it and then my fears were realized: "Haha oh extra ouch. You deleted my number. It's Kayla; sincerely hoping that you don't still hate me." Shocked and confused, I did not reply.

Hi- I'm in my mid twenties. Quick background. Strict religious background that basically means you are limited in lots of things association etc etc and dating.
I'm crossing boundaries lately and trying to experiment- however I know if this is found out I will be ostracised.. ( I know this sounds wierd and sect like but hang on for a mo)
I've decline going on dates with great guys due to religion- I've avoided going out to concerts and surfing so that I won't meet people I'm not supposed to meet. Trying hard to do the 'right thing'
I've become so withdrawn to a point where now I avoid people. I used to be fun, bubbly and crazy. I work in engineering-very male dominated environment- and I'm finally looking to get out.
I've been offered position in fashion and have been contemplating whether this is what I want.
I just can't stop crying. Of course I hide this from everyone else. I try to surf often and gym to keep my mind off. It helps a bit but I'm terrifed that I'm heading into deeper depression. I think about death often and different ways- but know I won't do it..
After ages I went for a trance electro concert of an internationally known DJ. I love music- Murphys law I get spotted from the front and asked to come stage- I declined naturally- but my face was in the event times the next evening.
Today I bought some painkillers OTC. I know I won't do it- I feel stuck in something- it makes me feel unwanted and so lonely. I'm bringing this upon myself I know that- I'm trying to get out- but this darkness is swallowing meAm i depressed or is this normal? anyone else feel this way?

You can still be a good religious person outside church, sometimes better than those within.
Go out and mix with both sexes and enjoy yourself rather than stay at home becoming depressed.
You seem to have a good outlook, so don't let things hold you back.
Cheer up, keep the medication for its proper use.

Souls and ghosts could be entities from another dimension leaked into ours. People would know it as hell. As for the afterlife, well....you might have to die to find out, I don't recommend that. To know the position of the smallest amount of mass/energy you need to have (x,y,z,t) coordinates.
To store these coordinates you would have to have atleast 4x the mass of the items you carry knowlege about.
Therefor god must be at least 4x greater than everything.
And if god where to know himself the amount of mass would be increasing for every value of x,y,z,t to an imaginary number.
So in conclusion for god to exist mathematically he must exist as an imaginary quantity of mass/energy.
